BWE Ladies A -v- Abingdon B (Babolat league – div 2)
BWE Ladies lost 3-5 to a strong Abingdon B team. Elaine Madle and Claire Oldfield at 1st pair halved with the Abingdon 1st pair 1-6, 7-5 but beat the 2nd pair 6-3, 6-4. Jenny Tucker and Andi Padbury at 2nd pair struggled in the windy conditions. They lost 1-6, 2-6 to the Abingdon 1st pair and 3-6, 1-6 to the 2nd pair
BWE Mens B -v- Oxford Sports E (Babolat league – div 5)
BWE Mens B had a good 5-3 victory over Oxford Sports E team. Sean Pettitt and Matt Pickering at 1st pair beat the OS 1st pair 7-6, 6-3 but halved against the 2nd pair 5-7, 6-2. Jeremy Turner and Archie McClusky at 2nd pair halved against the OS 1st pair 6-0, 2-6 and also halved against the 2nd pair 5-7, 6-3. This win maintains the Mens B position at the top of the table.
